Comprehending Torah through Grammar
I have good news for people who are interested in learning how to understand the Torah through Hebrew Grammar. Both the introductory and the intermediate HEBREW GRAMMAR classes are starting up again on Tuesday evenings.
Introductory Biblical Hebrew Grammar will start on July 7 ( every Tuesday evening for one hour starting at 7 PM CST).
Of course, all courses are free of charge.

Here’s a short description of the two classes:
The first class is an introduction to biblical Hebrew grammar, using an excellent text book written by Rabbi Marcuson from Jerusalem. It assumes no prior knowledge of Hebrew, just the ability to read.
After reading Rabbi Marcuson’s first book (having an orange colored cover), we are ready for the class on “intermediate Hebrew grammar.” This class uses the second grammar book written by Rabbi Marcuson (it has a blue cover).
The vocabulary presented in Rabbi Marcuson’s two books covers approximately 93% of the words in the Torah (see page xiv of the introduction to Book 1). In addition to teaching basic grammar and vocabulary (in Book 1), Rabbi Marcuson does a fantastic job in explaining exactly how the different vowels determine the meaning of related verbs (in Book 2).
